    To celebrate the Grand Opening of our Lumberton Branch, we are offering our neighbors an exclusive offer to earn $100 when they open up a new checking account with us!

    Residents that have mailboxes in the 77657 will receive this postcard starting on February 15 making them aware of the offer.

    Member(s) must open a new, eligible Education First FCU consumer personal checking or money market checking, or business checking account with a minimum deposit of $25 by April 30, 2024.

    To qualify for $100 cash bonus, member(s) must perform the following actions within 60 days of account opening; 

    • Receive a direct deposit into the new account; and,

    • Perform a minimum of 10 debit card transactions per month.  


    Education First FCU will deposit the cash bonus into the member(s) checking account within 45 days after completing the 60-day promotional requirements. 

    Disclosure & Eligibility Requirements

    This offer is for new checking accounts only, including Education First FCU Standard Checking, Money Market Checking and Student Checking accounts, Free Business Checking, Simple Business Checking and Plus Business Checking accounts. Members that have existing consumer, business checking or money market accounts do not qualify by opening a new qualifying account.  

    Qualifying direct deposit is a direct deposit of your salary, pension, Social Security, or other regular monthly income electronically deposited through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network to this checking account by your employer or an outside agency. Non-qualifying transactions include transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, deposits made at a credit union location or ATM or by third-party cash payment services, including but not limited to CashApp, Venmo, PayPal or eCommerce platforms.
